Nurses make a difference. That is the theme for May’s National Nurses Month, and it is certainly true for BWC’s 53 nurses. Let us celebrate nurses for what they do every day to make a difference for Ohio’s injured workers.
BWC values nursing
Personal connections. Relentless excellence. These are BWC’s values that describe our nursing staff. The American Nurses Association reports, “For the 20th consecutive year, nurses are again ranked #1 in Gallup’s annual Most Honest and Ethical Professions Poll.”
BWC nurses work in almost every division at BWC in varying capacities ranging from fraud investigations to claims and medical operations, to legal.
Many of our nurses serve as a medical resource to answer questions from Ohio’s injured workers, employers, providers, and managed care organizations. Let us take a moment to recognize nurses you know with a kind word or gesture today and throughout the year.
We thank every nurse for making a difference in the lives of injured workers, their families, and our communities. Enjoy Nurses Month!
