As the Ohio Safety Congress expo coordinator, it’s my goal to create a welcoming space for exhibitors and attendees to conduct business alongside our exceptional educational sessions. The venue may now be online, but the goal remains the same.

The 2022 Ohio Safety Congress & Expo (OSC22) is the largest free work-safety event in the U.S. and will be held March 9-10 online. OSC22 offers a live broadcast of educational sessions and resources that customers can access from anywhere and a dozen on-demand sessions that can be viewed any time.
Educational sessions
From March 9-10, OSC22 will offer more than 30 live educational sessions and two general sessions on a robust virtual event platform. Can’t attend those days? No worries! A dozen on-demand sessions are available to view anytime from March 9 through March 31, offering more choices and more convenience than ever before.
The educational sessions are presented by accomplished experts sharing information that can be applied to improve workplace safety and health while earning continuing education credit. There are five education tracks:
- Business Strategy
- Tech/Innovation
- Governance/Regulation
- Professional Development
- Diversity & Inclusion
Topics such as exoskeletons, unmanned aerial systems, fatigue and burnout, temporary workers, OSHA regulations, and employee engagement will be covered.

Continuing education
BWC Administrator/CEO Stephanie McCloud returns to OSC22 for the opening general session on Wednesday, March 9 after serving as the Director of the Ohio Department of Health during an important time of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Ohio EPA educational sessions
If you’re an environmental specialist, consider also attending the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) education day on March 8.
The Ohio EPA is offering four environmental sessions and continuing education credits. Registration for these Ohio EPA sessions is free. You must register for each session individually.
Enhanced Expo Marketplace
New and improved for 2022 is a simulated convention hall for a more visual experience and enhanced site navigation that operates parallel with the standard menu navigation system. Attendees can click the images or signs associated to points of interest such as the Expo Marketplace, Exhibitors Live, New Product Showcase and Exhibitor Specials, Speaker Bios, Discussion Forums, and Session Handouts.
Attendees can earn badges in the Scavenger Hunt by attending sessions, visiting specific features, and performing tasks. Eligible attendees with enough points and badges will be entered into the scavenger hunt prize drawing sponsored by exhibitors.
